Saralee Rastikhah

Saralee Rastikhah of Caro, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2020 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw. Saralee was born July 22, 1955 in Pigeon, the daughter of the late Donald and Marcia (Burden) McAlpine. She was united in marriage with Abbas Rastikhah on April 1, 1972 in Miami, Florida. Saralee was a devoted mother who enjoyed raising her children and being involved in their childhood activities. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Saralee also enjoyed cooking, Pinterest, pets, researching history and teaching her grandchildren, making many teachable moments. She also liked music, reading, where she had evolved from hard copy to E-books, and generously giving gifts. Saralee is survived by three children, Atesa Gast and her husband, Terry, of Caro, Ameneh Koepf of Vassar, Ariyan Rastikhah of Caro; eight grandchildren, Garrett, Owen, Alex and Nickalis Gast, Cordelia, Adrian, Giada and Seraphina Koepf; the father of her children, Abbas Rastikhah; one sister, Julie Arais and her husband, Henry, of Texas; and one brother, Robert George and his wife, Kimberly, of Texas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joan George; and one brother, David Callahan. A private family visitation will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with burial to follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
