Scott Champagne

Scott Champagne of Fairgrove, formerly of Marlette, age 40, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his home. Scott was born January 22, 1980 in Cass City. He worked for many years as a handyman, landscaper, builder and apartment building maintenance. Scott enjoyed cooking and was an excellent artist. He was a selfless man who loved his family and had the biggest heart. Scott is survived by his mother, Susan Schrader of Fairgrove; one sister, Kelley Guizar of Clifford; one brother, Matthew Champagne of Ypsilanti; four nieces, Shandi Matthews of Caro, Beth Hartsell and her husband, Adrien, of Caro, Emily Guizar of Clifford, Isabel Guizar of Clifford; a great-niece and great-nephew, Clarke and Romy Young of Caro. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Champagne. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro with Pastor Marc Herron officiating.
