Scott A. Dusute

Scott A. Dusute of Caro, age 40, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his home. Scott was born January 10, 1979 in Caro, the son of Timothy Dusute and the late Catherine (Perez) Dusute. He graduated from Caro High School with the class of 1997 and enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps shortly after where he was stationed in Virginia. Upon his honorable discharge in 1999, Scott began a career with Michigan Bell, now AT&T, as a line technician for several years. He will be remembered for his constant smile and his ability to give of his love and talents selflessly. He volunteered for many years at McComb Elementary in Caro, and the Nazarene Churches in Caro and Vassar where he was an active member. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed bowling, fishing, and golfing. He was a consummate family man and cherished time spent with his daughter. Scott is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Dusute of Caro; his daughter, Rachel Dusute of Caro; father, Timothy Dusute of Saginaw; four siblings and their spouses, Kevin & Amy Dusute of Medina, Ohio, Jennifer & Daniel Temeroski of Macomb, Ryan & Kelly Dusute of Hopkinton, New Hampshire, Amy & John Sayler of Henderson, Nevada; father- and mother-in-law, George & Nancy Wright of Silverwood; sisters-in-law and their spouses, Frances & Don Thornton of Reese, Amy & Walt Campbell of Caro; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Caro Church of the Nazarene with Rev. James Mellish officiating. Military honors under the auspices of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Caro American Legion Post #7 will follow the service. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Dusute Family Discretionary Fund for the benefit of his daughter, Rachel.
