Scott Matthew Hartman

Scott M. Hartman, age 50, of Unionville, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019.

Scott was born in Bay City on October 4, 1968, to Roy and Donna (Nutt) Hartman. He married Dawn Deeg on December 3, 1991. Scott worked as a mechanic for Ellenbaum Trucking and worked for Fertile Valley Seed Farm. He joined the Unionville Fire Department in 2008 and is the past Chief and was the current Treasurer. He enjoyed watching Nascar, being outside, spending time up north, and being with his grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his wife, Dawn; father, Roy; children: Aaron Hartman, Kayla (Kirt) Bedore, Erica Hartman and James Hartman; grandchildren: Wyatt, Kaden, Zoey and Zachary; and siblings: Robert (Melissa) Hartman, Raymond (Lisa) Hartman, Dawn Guthrie, Mary (Mike) Haske, Tom (Marsha) Hartman, Sandy (Jeff) Dillon, Rich (Lori) Hartman, Randy (Sarah) Hartman, Tim (Tabitha) Hartman and Laura (Ed) Shrontz; and many nieces and nephews.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Donna; and brother in law, Paul Guthrie, II.

The visitation will be Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, from 2-9pm.

The funeral service will be Friday, August 23, 2019, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Bach.
