Scott Vernel Mchalpine, Ii

Scott Vernel McHalpine, II, age 48, of Pigeon, formerly of Sebewaing, passed away November 1, 2019, at his home.

Scott was born September 7, 1971, in Mt. Clemens, to the late Scott Vernel McHalpine and Marcia (Fritz) Kundinger. He graduated from Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools, Class of 1991. He worked numerous jobs throughout his life, including Tower, Nexteer, Michigan Sugar Company and also volunteered on the Unionville Fire Department. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, welding, and most of all being around family and friends. Scott loved children and children loved him. He was a "Pied Piper". He had a big heart and was willing to help anyone that needed it.

Scott is survived by his mother: Marcia Kundinger; children: Derek Scott McHalpine and Kaselyn Star McHalpine; sister; Monica McHalpine Schember; grandson: Dillon McHalpine; nephew, Zane Schember; and niece, Monee' Schember.

Scott is preceded in death by his father, Scott V. McHalpine; daughter, Kassidy Lynn McHalpine; and grandparents: Lester and Donna Fritz and Arnold and Arlene Kunisch.

The visitation and service will be Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 1pm until the time of service at 7pm.
