Sean Thomas McIntosh, 23 of Owendale, died Monday, October 31, 2011 from injuries received in a car accident.
Born in Bay City on June 13, 1988, he was the son of Thomas "Mack" and Sandie L. (Passwaters) McIntosh, and graduated from Laker High School in 2006.
Sean went through the entire Boy Scouting program in Elkton, beginning as a Tiger Cub and attaining his Eagle Scout award on June 8, 2006. He was an E.M.T. and had studied for his paramedic license. He worked as a cook at Country Bay Village in Pigeon for nearly five years, and at Thumb Plastics for the past year. He loved his daughter, Riley very much and spent as much time as he could with her. He enjoyed making model airplanes, woodworking, and cooking. He was very family oriented and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his daughter, Riley Jade McIntosh; his parents, Thomas "Mack" and Sandie McIntosh of Owendale; brother, Kyle E. McIntosh of Owendale; girlfriend, Jill Koroleski of Owendale; grandparents, Eugene D. (Irene) McIntosh and Joyce (Jim) Headlee of Bad Axe and Charles (Linda) Passwaters of New Bern, North Carolina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Clementina Passwaters.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Meyersieck-Bussema Funeral Home, Pigeon. Cremation will follow.
Memorials may be made to the Riley McIntosh Trust Fund or the Saginaw Children's Zoo.
