Shannon Marie Diericks

Shannon Marie Diericks, age, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 10, 2023 at her home. Shannon was born December 6, 1976 in Lapeer, the daughter of the late Gordon and Sharon (Hodge) Shapter. She attended Kingston High School and went on to work at Growth & Opportunity, Midstate Bolt & Screw, and as a home health aide. Shannon loved to help and connect with others. She was known for collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and the love she had for her cat, Smokey. Shannon always made sure to keep up with her grandchildren, talking on the phone with them.

Shannon leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Brandon (Ellena Watson) Diericks and Courtney Diericks; all of her grandchildren; brothers, Jason (Stefanie) Shapter and Bill Wright; all of her nieces and nephews; her beloved cat, Smokey and many friends.

In keeping with Shannon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
