Sharon L. Allen

Sharon L. Allen of Caro, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare - Cooper in Saginaw. Sharon was born August 18, 1947 in Caro, the daughter of the late Donald L. and Carrie A. (Bell) Valentine and was a graduate of Millington High School. She was united in marriage with Lynn Allen and he preceded her in death. Sharon was a homemaker and very active in 4-H. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and her cats. Sharon was a member of St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro. She is survived by three grandchildren, John Osika, Jr., stationed with the U.S. Army in Virginia, Madeline Osika of North Carolina and Eric Osika; one sister, Tarrie Blackmer and her husband, Max, of Ohio; one niece and two nephews, Malinda Blackmer of Vassar, Joseph & Shannon Blackmer of Ohio and their three daughters, Aiden, Olivia and Audrey, and Max Blackmer, Jr. of New Jersey. In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by one daughter, Jenny Osika; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Osika. In keeping with Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held.
