Sharon Lee Avery

Sharon Lee Avery of Caro, age 73, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida. Sharon was born November 21, 1943 in Midland, the daughter of the late Herman and Beatrice Roy. She was united in marriage with Lee Avery, and together they have spent forty-nine years together. Sharon worked for Walbro for twenty-eight years and had been a very active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Florida during the winter months, flower gardening, crafts, and taking care of her pets. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Lee; five children and their spouses, Jimmy Stevens, Sharol Stevens, Larry & Melissa Avery, Rick & Minnie Avery and Rob Avery; four grandchildren; five siblings and their spouses, Darlene & Jim Behling, Dale & Sandy Roy, Sheila & Trent Johnson, Sandra Roy Hall, and Susie & Jeff Leake. Sharon was preceded in death by four siblings, Grant Roy, Sharlene Roy Gerdes, Douglas Roy and David Roy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating. Burial will follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery.
