Sharon Ann “Honey” Champagne, 65, of Caseville, loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great aunt passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 21, 2022 at her home.
The daughter of Irvin Champagne and Alice (Kubacki) Champagne, Sharon was born July 19, 1956, in Bad Axe. Sharon worshiped our Lord and Savior at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Caseville and enjoyed quilting, reading, playing cards with her family, walking along Saginaw Bay in Caseville and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Sharon worked in retail positions for 33 years before retiring from Meijer in 2020.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her mother, Alice Champagne, three sisters and one brother, Joan (Brian) Pickelman, Renee Muirhead, Lisa (John) Fallis and Brian (Kimberly Nicholson) Champagne; Sharon truly cherished her nieces and nephews. Kara (Mike) Gorte, Kallee (John) Donahue, Jeremy, Nicholas and Krystal Muirhead, Sydney and Brett Fallis, and Tanner and Elizabeth Nicholson. Sharon was preceded in death by her father Irvin and her brother-in-law James Muirhead.
Her laugh and love towards others will be forever in our memory.
A memorial mass will be 11:00am Friday, June 17th at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Freeland, visitation will begin one hour before the mass. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
