Sharon Sieloff Milot of Mayville, age 74, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at McLaren Lapeer Regional Hospital in Lapeer. She was born November 16, 1938 in Wyandotte, the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Stone) Sieloff. Sharon was united in marriage with Bernard Milot on December 5, 1959 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wyandotte. Sharon was a telephone operator at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Trenton until her retirement. She loved music and sang in bands playing the “Big Band” sound and then converted to country western music. She enjoyed playing the drums. Sharon is survived by her husband of over fifty years, Bernie; five children and their spouses, Bernard W. & Deborah Milot of Mayville, William E. & Lisa Milot of Taylor, Pamela A. & Gary Truskowski of Trenton, Robert C. & Wendy Milot of Mayville, Rebecca E. & Andy Timmermann of Belleville; nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Jere & Ning Sieloff of Otter Lake. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Bob Sieloff. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Living Waters Chapel in Caro with Rev. James Solomon officiating. Burial will be at the Dawn Memorial Cemetery in Lapeer at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Living Waters Chapel.
