Sharon E. Trisch

Sharon E. Trisch of Bay City, formerly of Caro, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. She was born October 24, 1938 to the late Lloyd and Leona (Gazafe) Trisch in Caro. Sharon was the second oldest of eight siblings. She graduated from Caro High School in 1956 and Northeastern School of Commerce in 1958.

Sharon then was employed by Consumers Power Company and worked for almost forty-three years, retiring in 2000 from Consumers Energy as Senior Energy Accounting Specialist. She inherited a portion of Trisch Orchard and along side her sisters, Rosemary and Gloria, owned Trisch Farm.

Sharon loved to travel with friends Marilyn Knight Sparks and Jacqueline Kavanaugh. They traveled to forty-eight of the fifty states, went on several cruises to Alaska, the Caribbean, and Panama Canal, and on a tour of Spain. Sharon enjoyed day trips to casinos with Jag Motocoach and the Polish Hillbillies.

Sharon leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings, Beverly Leipprandt, Gloria (Wes) O’Dell, Rosemary Matuszak, Wayne Trisch, Gene (Harriet) Trisch, and Roger Trisch; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Trisch; sisters-in-law, Linda Trisch and Kathleen Trisch, brothers-in-law, Robert Leipprandt and Victor Matuszak; niece, Christina Groombridge; nephews, Charlie Trisch and Scott O’Dell; great-nephew, Nicholas Berry.

Sharon’s funeral service will be on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ransford Funeral Home in Caro. Rev. Michele Hile will officiate with the interment following at Ellington Twp. Cemetery. Sharon’s family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of her service.
