Shelley Willing

Shelley Willing of Caro, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Shelley was born on March 15, 1966 in Caro, the daughter of John and Jane Baker. She was a lifelong resident of Caro and a graduate of Caro High School and Delta College. In 2009, Shelley married the love of her life, Jim Willing. She worked for the Tuscola County Department of Health and Human Services for many years until her retirement in 2021. She was thoroughly enjoying the retired life with her husband, traveling around the state of Michigan and being active members of the Caro Moose Lodge.

Left to cherish Shelley’s memory are her loving husband, Jim Willing; parents, John & Jane Baker; sister, Jana (Dwayne) Brown; nephews, Dylan Brown and Logan Brown; and her beloved kitties, Dottie and Finn.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
