Shelly Little

Shelly Little of Caro, age 54, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw. Shelly was born August 10, 1966 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Donald and Leona (Hawkins) Carrick and was a 1984 graduate of Whittemore-Prescott High School. She was united in marriage with Zig Little on June 30, 1990 at the Japanese Gardens in Saginaw. Shelly was employed as a manager at Speedway in Caro and Family Dollar in Carrollton and Mayville. She went on to earn her CNA certificate and worked for A & D Home Health Care. Shelly was a loving wife and mother, and a genuinely kind and caring person. She enjoyed reading and camping and loved her three dogs. Shelly is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Zig Little of Caro; two sons, Tyler Evan Little and Sean Ryan Little; her "starter sons," David and Daniel Miller; one brother, Tim Carrick of Saginaw; one sister, Marcia Sayers of Saginaw; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kim & Greg Michalski of Deford; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Carrick. A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
