Sherri Lynn Werner

Sherri Lynn Werner, 67, of Pigeon, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at her father’s home.

Sherri was born March 19, 1958 in Pigeon and graduated in 1976 from Laker High School.  Sherri loved to cook and always made enough food to feed any and all visitors that stopped by her dad’s house.  She loved horses, and had owned a couple in her lifetime.  Sherri enjoyed music, shopping, dinner dates with her dad, and time spent with her daughter and grandkids.

Sherri is survived by her daughter Tera Johns; grandchildren Richard, Olivia, Jacob, Daniel and Mya; father Larry; brother Steve (Julie); niece Kayla,; nephews Ryan, Austin, and Garett; great-nieces and great-nephews Easton, Brinley, Carson, Paxton, and Riley; special aunts Patsy and Bonnie (Eric); and many cousins.  She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce, special aunt Peggy and grandparents.

The family would like to thank Scott and Lisa Ostrander, police chief Adam Csanyi, and Scheurer EMS for their extra time spent with the family.

Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
