Sherry Louise Bennett

Sherry Louise Bennett, age 57, of Unionville, passed away at her home on hospice with her family by her side.

Sherry was born in Flint on June 5, 1967, to Clyde and Patsy (Arnold) Bennett. As a child she enjoyed playing soccer and softball. She graduated from Atherton High School in 1985. She then took business management classes at a local college. She worked a few years in food management, waitressing and bartending. She enjoyed camping, bowling, boating, vegetable and flower gardening, decorating her home, traveling with Jeremy in his truck seeing most of the 50 states, cooking, crafting, shopping, loved her dog, Bo, and being with family and enjoyed the holidays together.

Sherry is survived by her significant other of over 23 years, Jeremy Haubenstricker; her children: Crystal (Kirk) Glaza of Caseville, Daniel Church of Caseville and Jersey Haubenstricker of Unionville; grandchildren: Kenzie, Adalynn, Gibson, Hayden, Cameron and Lillian; siblings: Jeff (Karen) Bennett of Tennessee, Karen (Charlie) Hahn of Arizona; nieces and nephews, dear friend, Penny in Florida; and is real close with the Haubenstricker family.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Patsy.

The visitation and funeral will be on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Inc. from 9am until the time of service at 11am.

The burial will be at Hickory Island Cemetery in Akron Township, MI.
