Sherry Churchill

Sherry Lynn Churchill, age 40, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 at her home. She was born on May 21, 1969 in Caro to Arthur “Mike” Putnam, Sr. and the late Janet (Jacob) Putnam. Sherry Lynn was a 1988 graduate of Mayville High School. She then attended both Mott Community College and St. Clair Community Colleges to pursue a career as a pastry chef. For a period of time, she was employed at McDonalds in Caro, but due to her illness, she was unable to pursue her dreams. She enjoyed Bingo, ceramic painting, and being with her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her father, Arthur “Mike” Putnam, Sr. of Caro; her siblings, Arthur “Mike” (Stacey) Putnam, Jr. of Caro and Tina (Clayton) McConnell of Caro; two nieces and four nephews, Jenny Lumley and Kevin Maddox, Cody Putnam, Zachary Putnam, Keerey Putnam, Jasson Sharrard and Ryan Sharrard; two great-nieces and one great-nephew; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two children, Tyler Michael Putnam and Carrielynn Marie Churchill. A memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In accordance with Sherrys wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Sherry Lynn Churchill family discretionary fund, c/o Collon Funeral Home, 302 S.
