Shirley L. Buschlen

Shirley Lee Buschlen, age 76 of Essexville and formerly of Pigeon, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014.
Born in Pigeon on September 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James Joy and Amanda (Buchholz) Richmond.
Shirley retired after working as a purchasing agent for more than 25 years at Hills & Dales Hospital in Cass City. She attended Cross Lutheran Church when living in Pigeon, and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church while in Cass City.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Robin and Ann Buschlen of Pigeon and Kyle Buschlen of Albion; grandchildren, Amanda and Rob Cronk, Shane and Brandi Buschlen, and Jenna and Spencer Lindenberg; great-grandchildren, Olivia Buschlen, Adelyn Buschlen, and Kennedy Cronk; brother and sister-in-law, Kurt and Gail Richmond of Caseville; and special niece Andrea Deering and her daughter Lilly, who dearly loved her "Auntie."
A Memorial Service for will be held at 11:00 on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Cross Lutheran Church, Pigeon, with Rev. Timothy Loehrke, pastor, officiating. Visitation at the church will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Memorials may be given to Cross Lutheran Church.
