Shirley Chiotti

Shirley Chiotti, age 88 of Pigeon, passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
She was born May 7, 1922 in Bay Port and was the daughter of Phinias B. and Gladys (Ballard) Walsh. She graduated from Bay Port High School in May, 1940.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Carol Chiotti of Pigeon and Jennie (Ron) Botterbusch of Montgomery, Alabama; son, John (Donna) Chiotti of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Juli Chiotti of Phoenix, Arizona and Micah Chiotti of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota; a sister, Nancy Walsh Burgess of Tucson, Arizona; a brother-in-law, Wayne Knechtel of Bad Axe; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Adeline Walsh Beardsley Wakefield and Audrey Walsh Knechtel, and brother, Phinias K. Walsh.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
