Shirley J. Mcgee

Shirley J. McGee age 61 of Elkton died Wednesday morning, November 5, at University Community Hospital, Tampa, FL following a massive stroke.
She was born March 9, 1947 in Pigeon to the late Oarie and Ruth (Rook) Christner. Shirley grew up in the Pigeon area and was a 1965 graduate of Laker High School.
On April 28, 1979, she was united in marriage to William F. McGee at St. John Lutheran Church, Berne and made their home in Elkton.
Shirley was a life long member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was very active in church functions, help with many funeral luncheons. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. She and Bill loved to dance and travel.
Surviving are her husband, Bill; two siblings, Gary (Janet) Christner of Tucson, AZ, Joyce (Richard) Deering of Sandusky. Preceding her in death was her brother, Harlan sister-in-law, Elizabeth Christner and her brother Dennis Christner, who died Thursday(Today).
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 12, at St. John Lutheran Church, Berne with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton. Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday and at the church after 10 AM Wednesday.
