Stanley Craig Scott

Stanley Craig Scott, age 63, of Caseville, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Marlette Regional Hospital-Hospice Residence of pancreatic cancer.

Stanley was born June 1, 1948 in New London, Connecticut to Harriett (nee Craig) and the late Frank Scott. He graduated from Old Lyme High School in Old Lyme, Connecticut in 1966. On March 21, 1979 he married Jean S. Doyle in Cornwall, Connecticut. They later moved to the Detroit area and then ten years ago they moved to Caseville.

He was employed as a salesman in the printing industry before beginning to drive truck for USXpress. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles #3690. He enjoyed fishing, golf, cribbage and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Jean; sons Martin of Florida and Matthew (Deenan) of Georgia; grandchildren Deen, Mattlee and Thaddeus; mother Harriett Scott of Iowa; brother Steven (Diana) of Virginia and sister Susan (Ron) Maxson of Iowa; and mother-in-law Virginia Doyle of Caseville.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements.
