Stephanie L. Hollosy

Stephanie L. Hollosy of Caro, age 45, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Stephanie was born March 1, 1969 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Thomas & Karen (Geiger) Smith, and graduated from Cass City High School in 1987. She was united in marriage with Kevin Hollosy on September 17, 1988 in Caro. Stephanie attended the Deford Community Church and loved her children and dogs dearly. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Kevin Hollosy of Caro; two children, Andrea L. Hollosy and Dillon L. Hollosy, both of Caro; her father, Thomas Smith of Auburn; grandmother, Mary Smith of Cass City; mother-in-law, Midge (Paul) Davis of Cookville, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Rick Hollosy of Plymouth; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Flynt in 1988. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Deford Community Church with Rev. David Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Deford Christian Academy.
