Stephen Wayne Kreh

Stephen Wayne Kreh of Pigeon, age 65, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, while at Covenant Healthcare – Harrison. Stephen was born on May 13, 1961, the son of the late Lyle and Phyllis (Leckenby) Kreh. He attended Laker High School and graduated with the class of 1979. Stephen spent his life as a swine herdsman and worked at many local farms in Huron county. In his free time, he really enjoyed watching sports. He was an avid University of Michigan, Tigers, and Lions fan but could often be found enjoying any game that was on.

Left to cherish Stephen’s memory are his siblings, Jeff (Karen) Kreh of Kinde, Dean (Julie) Kreh of Owendale and Jennifer (Matt) Booms of Port Hope; uncle, John Leckenby of Austin, Texas; nieces and nephews, Stacey, Kevin, Kristopher, Kristen, Kayla, Kari, Jordan, Tiffany, Colin, Alexis, Brianna, and Brooklyn. In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Kreh; and grandparents, Ervin & Verda Kreh and Carl & Lucille Leckenby.

A committal service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the Riverside Cemetery in Elkton.
