Stephen Earl Martin

Stephen E. Martin, 70, of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Scheurer Health in Pigeon.

Steve was born January 30, 1952 in Detroit to the late Stanley and Phyllis (Thompson) Martin. He graduated from Laker High School in 1970. He married Kathryn Mullins on June 16, 1972 in Detroit. In 2007 Steve retired as a job setter from Ford Motor Company after 37 years.

Steve was a sports fan and outdoors man who enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed going to car and tractor shows.

Steve is survived by his wife Kathryn; sons Timothy of Bad Axe and Jeffery (Samantha) of Pigeon; grandchildren Allyson, Rylee, Rian, Reece and Asher; sister Donna Martin of Pigeon and brother Hal (Jill) Martin of Escanaba. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Schendel.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, October 3rd at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating. Burial will be in New Bay Port Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon to 6:00pm Sunday.
