Stephen Michael Stempowski

Stephen M. “Mouth” Stempowski, 63, of Caseville passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Stephen was born June 13, 1958 in Detroit to the late Richard and Dorothy (Tickle) Stempowski. He grew up in Sterling Heights and moved to Caseville in 1992 to live with his father, brother and daughter. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching sunsets. His favorite spot was his backyard deck. He was a big sports fan, especially Michigan Football and the Lions.

Stephen is survived by his daughter Leanne (Michael) Shilakes of Caseville; grandchildren Griffin and Eden; sister Donna (Michael) Spencer of Canton and brother John of Caseville; nephews Daniel and Michael and niece Erica; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his half brother Charles Stanek and half sister Mahala Neller.

Funeral services will be 7:00pm Wednesday, June 16th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm and continue until the time of the service.
