A gentle loving man has left this life. Stephen J. Zagorski, age 53, of Sand Point, died unexpectedly on December 9, 2005 from complications following shoulder surgery.
He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of thirty three years, Judy (Bouck) Zagorski. He was the proud father of Levi and his wife Kristen (Roth) of Carrollton, and Travis and his fiancee Kate Lisowski of Colorado.
Steve was born January 5, 1952 in Bad Axe. He was the son of Gloria Frank and the late Frank Zagorski and brother of Ned and Barb Zagorski, Rob and Bridget Frank and Rick Frank, and step son to the late R. Roy Frank.
Steve was also a son and brother to Judy’s family, Virgil and Verneta Bouck, Marge Hall, Joyce Miller, Dave and Sue Bouck, and Dan and Carla Bouck.
Steve was a life-long area resident. He graduated from Laker High School in 1971.
Steve was a Production Technician for Dow AgroSience for the past four years, and he and Judy were proud Managers of Beadle Bay Marina and Campground this past season.
Steve loved being outdoors, feeding wildlife, yardwork, spoiling his nieces and nephews (he was “Uncle Steve” to many people), eating Verneta’s pie and wearing comfy old clothes.
Steve’s friendly smile, generous spirit, giant bear hugs, sense of humor and caring ways will be missed by the many people who loved him.
