Steven Joseph Labeda

Steven Joseph Labeda of Caseville, age 79, passed away on the morning of Thursday, December 4, 2025 at McLaren Lapeer Region. He was born May 1, 1946, the son of the late Steven and Margaret Labeda. He graduated from high school and went on to work at State Plumbing and Heating in Detroit for over thirty-three years. While at work Steven met the former Cynthia Polanecki. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage in 1969, celebrating fifty-six years. Steven was a huge U of M fan and a member of the Caseville Eagles.

Steven is survived by his wife and many family members in Pennsylvania.

In keeping with Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
