Susan Vincent

Susan Ann Vincent, age 50 of Greenleaf Township, Sanilac County, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. She was born on June 16, 1960 in Cass City to Frank Junior and the late Elizabeth Preba. Susan has been a rural Cass City resident all of her life. On August 8, 1980 the former Susan Preba married Eugene Vincent, Jr. in Caro. In her early years, she had been employed at Snover Stamping and did house painting. She was a homemaker and a mom. She enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved cooking. She is survived by her husband, Eugene; two children, Joshua Vincent and his finance, Kendra Harrison, of Cass City, and Ashley Vincent and Kevin Urban of Cass City; her father, Frank Preba of Cass City; and her siblings, Kathleen Sweet of Cass City and Frank C. Preba of Cass City. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Preba. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Wigand, First Baptist Church of Caro, officiating. In keeping with Susans wishes, cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan Vincent family discretionary fund, c/o Eugene Vincent, 302 S. State St., Caro, MI 48723. Funeral arrangements were made by the Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
