Susan Ann Weihl

Susan Ann Weihl of Caro, age 61, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. Sue was born October 7, 1954 in Caro, the daughter of the late Lee and Maxine (Vandecar) Bennett. She was united in marriage with Timothy Weihl on April 1, 1972 at the Wahjamega Country Church in Caro, and he survives her. Sue served as a secretary for Gladys Galloway for ten years, and also worked the front desk at Curves until her health declined in 2011. She enjoyed riding Harleys with her husband, Tim, and was a member of the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) in Lapeer. Sue loved caring for her family, was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, and enjoyed tending to her flowers, and feeding and watching her birds. Sue is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Timothy Weihl of Caro; two sons, Benjamin Weihl and his wife, Christina, of Midland, Michael Weihl of Caro; two grandchildren, Brendan and Makenna Weihl of Midland; siblings, Karen Collard of Cass City, Frederick Bennett of Sparta, and Karlene Bennett-Zielinski and her husband, Nick, of Tucson, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by one sister, Kay Bennett. In keeping with Sue's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
