Suzanne Kay Davison

Suzanne Kay Davison of Caro, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Hills & Dales General Hospital in Cass City. She was born June 10, 1946 in Mayville, the daughter of the late Ward and Betty (Emery) Goodell, and graduated from Mayville High School with the Class of 1965. Suzanne was united in marriage with Eugene Davison on May 27, 1967 at the Caro First Presbyterian Church, and he survives her. She was a homemaker and did work outside the home for a time at the 7-Eleven Store in Caro, Big Lots, Walmart, and as a teacher's aide for Caro Community Schools. Suzanne was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church, and Kedron Chapter #33 Order of Eastern Star until it dissolution. Suzanne enjoyed mowing the lawn, riding motorcycles with her husband, and Masonic activities. Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Eugene Davison of Caro; one son and his wife, Thomas & Maria Davison of Livonia; one granddaughter, Amanda of Livonia; three sisters and their husbands, Marilyn & Max Hollenbeck of Mayville, Diann & David Orban of Bay City, Lennie Wright of Mesa, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Askins; one niece, Tammy Wright; and her mother- and father-in-law, Clark & Dessie Davison. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Don Ault officiating.
