Suzanne Marie Krohn

Suzanne M. Krohn, 44, of Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

Suzie was born December 20, 1979 in Pigeon.  She grew up in Elkton and graduated in 1998 from Laker High School.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University in 2002 and a Juris Doctor from Thomas Cooley Law School in 2006.  She was Huron County Assistant Prosecutor from 2008-2021 and then the Tuscola County Domestic Relations Referee since 2021.  She was the former President of the Huron County Bar Association.  She enjoyed tubing, competing in Muddy Princess USA, personal fitness, and most of all being a mother.

Suzie is survived by her son Isaac; mother Barb Krohn; sister Janelle (Rahila) Krohn; the father of her son Mark (Mary) Brown; aunts and uncles James Brunni, Bill (Son Mi) Brunni, Mary (Jim) Granelli, Betty Brunni, Dennis (Jean) Fritz, Randy (Ev) Fritz, Denise Fritz, Connie (Terry) Damm, Sherri (Dave) Kraft, Brenda (Jack) Gleason, and Becky (Eric) Wachowicz; many cousins and wonderful friends.  She was preceded in death by her father David, step father Mark Kellermann, aunt Carrie Brunni, and uncle Randy Krohn.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, March 12th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating.  Burial will be Grand Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-8 Sunday and 2-8 Monday at the funeral home.
