Sylvia A. Wheeling

Sylvia A. Wheeling, age 80, of Rochester Hills, formerly of Sebewaing, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills.

Sylvia was born August 15, 1933 to the late Edward and Leah (Braun) Kuhl. She worked as the food director for Baldwin Center in Pontiac for over 30 years. She enjoyed plaing the piano, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school. She was a member at Kilmanagh United Methodist Church and Grace and Peace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Douglas Wheeling; her son, Ronald Wheeling; grandson, Timothy Wheeling; great grandson, Ian Wheeling; sister, Alberta Cagle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Wheeling; and 8 siblings.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm.

The funeral service will be Monday, June 30, 2014 at Kilmanagh United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at New Bay Port Cemetery.
