Terrance Paul Bouverette

December 18, 1954 — April 6, 2007

Terrance P. "Terry" Bouverette age 52, of Elkton died Friday, April 6, 2007 at the home of his daughter while under hospice care.

He was born December 18, 1954 in Bad Axe to Dorothy (Grigg) Bouverette and the late Frederick Bouverette. After high school Terry became a diesel mechanic and drove truck for Wiederhold Freight Lines in Elkton. Later he was employed at Van Poppelen's in Bay City. On August 2, 1988 an accident occurred at work leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. This set back didn't slow him down much; he stayed very active working on vehicles, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are two children, Rocky (Kathy) Bouverette of Deckerville and Tracy (Her fiancee, Mike Bolda) of Pigeon; eight grandchildren, Kelsey and Haven Bouverette, Calvin, Cheyenne, and Cailee Janik, and Mariah, Kennedy and Landen Bolda; his mother, Dorothy Bouverette of Caseville, three brothers, Randy (Deb) Bouverette of Elkton, Keith (Jenney) Bouverette of Bad Axe and Tim Bouverette of Croswell; five sisters, Kathy (Dave) Briesmiester of Caseville, Barb (Tim) Heiden of Elkton, Theresa (Gary) Miller of Elkton, Mary (Paul) Greyerbiehl of Bad Axe and Diane Palock of Bad Axe.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Tom and Fred.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Community Wesleyan Church, Elkton. Rev. Daniel Stone, pastor will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.

Visitation will be 2 to 9 PM Monday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Elkton and at the church after 10 AM Tuesday.
