Terry Willard Allen

Terry Willard Allen, 66, of Pigeon, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his beloved family on May 2, 2024 after a courageous 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Terry was born on September 5, 1957 to Bill and Rose Allen of Ubly, Michigan. On August 3, 1981 he married the love of his life and best friend Dianne Terbush who has been by his side for 42 adventure-filled years. They went on to have two wonderful children together Erica Pacholke and Zachary Allen.

In 1975 he graduated from Ubly High School and worked at Longuski Silo for a year before starting his apprenticeship at Active Industries in Elkton. He worked for 46 years as a Tool and Die Maker until retiring in the spring of 2022.

Terry was an active scout leader for the Elkton Boy Scouts for many years and inspired the love of the outdoors in many youths. He enjoyed golfing, camping, sailing, Jeeps, Harleys, playing Euchre and cooking. He was also well known for his love of making various kinds of homemade pizzas in his wood-fired pizza oven. The most important thing in Terry's life was spending time with the people he loved most, his devoted family and friends, and no matter what he always put his family first.

Left behind to honor his memory are his wife Dianne Allen; mother Rose Allen; children Erica (Chris) Pacholke and Zachary (Jennie) Allen; grandchildren Eric and Brennen Pacholke, and William Alburg; brothers Gary (Deb) Allen and Dale (Lauretta) Allen; brothers-in-law Jim (Jean) Terbush, Gene (Barb)Terbush, and Doug (Judy) Terbush along with many other extended family members and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Allen, and his infant brother Todd Allen.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Saturday, May 11th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel.  Visitation will be 2-8 Friday.
