Terry Katherine Flanagan

Terry Katherine Flanagan of Mayville, age 62, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Terry was born January 7, 1960 in Marlette, the daughter of the late Stuart and Bonnie (Briggs) Thornton. Terry attended Mayville High School and later went on to college where she obtained her CMD. On July 30, 1977, Terry married the love of her life, Jeffery Flanagan. Together they shared forty-five years, two wonderful daughters, and countless memories. Terry and Jeff loved going on "mini vacations" together and cherished every moment with each other. Terry was employed by Fisher Senior Care and Rehab as a dietary manager for over twenty-eight years. A dedicated employee, she worked up until the day of her surgery. Above all else, Terry loved being a grandma, her grandchildren were the lights of her life and she enjoyed spending every day with them. Terry will be missed beyond measure by her family and friends. Terry leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Jeffery; daughters, Richelle (Craig) Zweng of Port Huron and Courtney (Daren Leix) Flanagan of Mayville; six grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Andrew, & Anthony Zweng, Larissa Drozdowski, and Steven Budreau, Jr.; siblings, Curtis Thornton and Brenda Stone, both of Mayville; many nieves, nephews, cousins, and friends. In keeping with Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
