Theodore Edward Bach
Theodore "Ted" Edward Bach, age 88, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 10, 2011. Ted was born March 3, 1922 to Ferdinand and Frances (Ziegler) Bach. He is a Veteran of WWII in the U.S. Coast Guard-Pacific Theater. Ted married Mary Elizabeth Hamilton October 18, 1947 in Fort Scott, Kansas. He retired from ManuLife Insurance Company as a life insurance agent around 1982. He is a lifetime member of Sebewaing VFW Post #4115 and is actively involved at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Ted is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Hamilton) Bach; Children: Diane (Ed) Ulmer, Dennis (Sue) Bach, Kent (Robin) Bach, Kurt (Kelli Roberts) and Jan (Clay) VanWagoner; 13 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, Sister: Ruth Roller; and several nieces and nephews.
Ted is predeceased by his brother, Albert Bach and sister, Marion Bohn.
Visitation at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Sebewaing, Friday, January 14, 2011 from 1-9pm.
Funeral Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sebewaing at 11am. Additional visiting from 10am until the time of service. A short military service will take place outside the church following the service.
Burial will be private at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the General Fund at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
