Theresa L. Brush

Theresa L. Brush, 83, of Bay Port, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Theresa was born October 15, 1936 in Vassar to the late Arthur and Louise Doering. She graduated from Vassar High School. She married Samuel Brush in Vassar in 1967. She was a member Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, attending St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Together with her husband she owned and operated Brush’s Marina and Campground. She was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.

She is survived by her husband Samuel; children Glenda (Craig) Young of Attica, Dan Brush of Bay Port, Ann (Larry) Schalau of Fowlerville and Katherine (Jeff) Burnett of Georgia; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and brother John Doering of Caro. She was preceded in death by sons Glenn Albee and Arthur Brush, granddaughters Danielle Brush and Tina Albee.

A private funeral mass will be at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church on Monday, May 18th with burial to follow in New Bay Port Cemetery.
