Theresia Hahn Heine

Theresia Hahn Heine, 93, of Pigeon died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Scheurer Hospital Long Term Care in Pigeon.

Theresia was born September 15, 1924 in Vienna, Austria to the late Alexander and Barbara Hahn.  She moved to the United States in 1946 with her future husband Gebhard Heine, whom she married June 7, 1947 at Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon; he preceded her in death March 15, 1996.

After moving to the US she helped with her husband’s business, Heine Construction, by keeping the books.  She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara (Tim) Dufty; granddaughters Jennifer (Shawn) Dunn and Trista Dufty; and great-grandsons Ultan and Bodie, all from Pigeon.  She was preceded in death by her son Richard.

There will be a memorial service at 4:00pm Sunday, August 19 ^th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Elkton with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating.  Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Sunday and continue until the service time at 4:00pm.  She was buried in Caseville Township Cemetery.
