Therin D. Wilson

Therin D. Wilson of Bad Axe formerly of Elkton and Tulsa went to be with his Lord, Thursday, January 9, at his home while under hospice care.

He was born July 6, 1966, in Bad Axe to Janet (Keyworth) Wilson and the late Robert Wilson.
Therin grew up in Elkton until 1981, when he and his family moved to Oklahoma.
After high school, he attended college for one year and became an auto mechanic, starting his own business ABC Automotive in Tulsa, OK.

On March 16, 1992, he was united in marriage to Debra L. Scieszinski in Van Buren, Arkansas and made their home near Tulsa. Therin retired several years ago for health reasons, suffering several heart attacks and a stroke. They moved back to the Thumb in January of 2013 to be nearer his family.
Therin enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his biggest hobby was building hot rods and spending time with his kids and grandbaby’s.

Surviving are his wife Debra; children, Amber (Nick) Verrette of Kansas, OK, Heather (Kyle)Perdue of Kansas, OK, Heath (Stacy) Wilson of Bartlesville, OK, Melissa Scieszinski of Sand Springs, OK, Ryan Wilson of Bad Axe and Zachary Wilson of Bad Axe; five grandchildren, Bryce, Brody, Braxton, Nicolas and Kyaleigh; his mother, Janet Wilson of Bad Axe; siblings, Robert (Sherry) Wilson of Bad Axe, Misty (Rick) England of Farwell, Jodi (Dave) May of Chesterfield, Brady Wilson of Bad Axe and Robyn (Eric) Switras of Oxford; grandparents Bill and Ila (Keyworth) Cook of Marlette and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father and niece, Brittany.


Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 PM Monday, January 13, at the Champagne Funeral Chapel Elkton where friends and family may call from 2:00 PM until the time of services.
