Thomas W. "T-Bone" Cockerill

Thomas W. “T-Bone” Cockerill of Duluth, Minnesota, formerly of Caro, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2024. T-Bone was born October 29, 1956 in Caro, the son of the late Thomas and Lena (Wilder) Cockerill. He attended Caro High School, where he graduated with the class of 1974. He began his career at Pattullo Sports in Caro working with Papa George and Mama Betty Pattullo, and later held positions at Wadsworth, Paul Clute and Associates, and Golfworks as an irrigation foreman. T-Bone was a passionate golfer and golf enthusiast, and could often be found watching professional golf in his spare time. He loved old black and white movies and harness racing, in which he actively participated by owning some of his own and following local horses and owners. He was an avid collector of coins and baseball cards.

Left to cherish T-Bone’s memory are his siblings and their spouses, Tammy & Jeff Foor, Tim & Lisa Cockerill, Martha Shelito, and Troy & Judy Cockerill; many nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Victoria Ross. In addition to his parents, T-Bone was preceded in death by two sisters, Robin Pugh and Cheryl Hoppe.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
