Thomas A. Draschil

Thomas A. Draschil, age 80, of Owendale, passed away March 30, 2026 at Aspire Hills & Dales Hospital in Cass City.

Thomas was born in Pigeon on January 13, 1946, to Frank and Alice (Kunisch) Draschil. He graduated from Owengage High School. He enjoyed farming, watching college basketball and football, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and MASH, driving around looking at fields and checking on the neighborhood. He also collected toy tractors and coins.

Thomas is survived by his children: Amy (Michael) Powell of Owendale, Marcie (Thomas) Jeffery of Gagetown and Alissa (Michael) Parks of Swartz Creek; grandchildren: Alec, Lucas and Lyla Powell, Daniel (fiancé Miranda) Jeffery and Abigail (Joshua) Szyska, Drew and Zane Parks; soon to be great grandson, Walker Thomas Szyska; sister, Elaine (Jerry) Parker of Mason; 2 nieces, lots of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 3, 2026 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Inc., in Sebewaing, from 2pm-8pm. Burial will be private at Grant Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the charity of your choice.
