Thomas W. Mucha, 79, of Pigeon, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at MyMichigan Medical Center in Saginaw.
Tom was born January 13, 1945 in Detroit to the late Walter and Alvina (Wrytrychowski) Mucha. He married Joyce Antonowicz on May 20, 1967 at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck. He worked at General Motors and American Axle and Manufacturing in Detroit, retiring in 2000. Tom was a proud Marine, serving 4 years during the Vietnam War. He played trumpet in the Marine Corp. band and continued playing in polka bands in the Detroit area for many years. He and Joyce spent winters in Bradenton, Florida. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf and was a member of the Caseville Eagles Club and the Bradenton Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Joyce; sons Thomas (Aynsley Floyd) and Timothy (Candace); grandchildren Carter Joy, Cole and Nicholas; great-grandchild McKenna and sister Kathy Smith.
A memorial service will be 11:00am Saturday, November 9th at St. Roch Catholic Church in Caseville. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
