Thomas V. Pecha 96 of Caseville, died Sunday afternoon, November 9, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon.
He was born July 23, 1907 to the late Alexander and Josephine (Mayie) Pecha in Detroit.
On June 4, 1930 he was united in marriage to Beatrice E. Fitzgibbon at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Detroit. She preceded him in death on March 1, 1990.
Thomas worked as a process engineer at Fruehauf Trailer Company for 33 years retiring in 1965. Shortly after they moved to Lake Twp. where they had vacationed in the summer since the mid forties.
He was a member of St. Roch Catholic Church, Eagles Club and Caseville Retirement Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Terri (Thomas) Talaski of Rapson and Patricia Fancher of Caseville; seven grandchildren, Chips, Scott, Linda, Karen, Kim, Tom and Michelle; nine great grandchildren, Chadman, Brandon, Dana, Danielle, Breanna, Kevin, Derek, Kendra and Dylan; two brothers, George (Monica) Pecha of Warren and Robert (Bette) Pecha of Bradenton, FL; brother in law, Arthur Weber of Bradenton, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, November 13, at St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville. Rev. Kenneth Yaroch will officiate with burial in St. Roch Cemetery.
Friends may call at Champagne Funeral Chapel Caseville, from 4-9 Tuesday, 2-9 Wednesday, and after 10:00 AM Thursday.
