Thomas Wayne Rinnert

Thomas Wayne Rinnert of Gagetown, age 60, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 following a brief illness. Tom was born October 30, 1955 in Cass City, the son of the late Robert & Betty (Shuff) Rinnert. He spent his life working to help others, as a farmer and auto mechanic. He will be remembered as a man that could fix almost anything and would often be found working in his shop. Tom adored his grandchildren and spending time with his family at bonfires. He was captivated by cars and big machines, and would often clear his head by mowing his yard and any others that needed it. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Rinnert of Gagetown; two children, Thomas Rinnert, Jr. of Owendale, Nickie Dzielinski and her husband, Douglas, of Gagetown; two grandchildren, Haillie Rinnert and Vincent Dzielinski; nine siblings and their spouses, Stanly & Joyce Rinnert, Mike & Judy Rinnert, Harry & Jennifer Elliott, Joe & Lynn Rinnert, Sherri & Edward Fritz, Bonnie & Ron Smith, Vickie & Rob Scott, Floyd & Lori Elliott, Robert & Cathy Rinnert; three step-siblings, Anne Simmons, David & Kristy Limberger, Donald Limberger; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his stepmother, Joanne Rinnert. In keeping with Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Owendale Fire Hall.
