Timothy Harold Buckey

Timothy H. Buckey, 69, of Caseville, died suddenly, Friday, September 23, 2011 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Tim was born October 8, 1941 in Midland to the late Harold and Mary Jane (Haley) Buckey. He graduated from Midland High School in 1960 and then served in the US Army from 1961 to 1964. On December 23, 1992 he married Stephanie Green at the Bay County Courthouse. They moved to Caseville the next year.

After 41 years with GM, he retired from Saginaw Metal Castings Plant in 2006. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, computers and was a friend of Bill W.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie; children Tami, Paul, Danielle, Matthew and Hayley; 7 grandchildren; and brother Richard (Janet) and sister Ruth (Mike) Albee, both of Midland.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joe, sister Barbara and dog Sailor that just died Tuesday.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. Burial with military honors will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
