Timothy Jaster

Timothy Jaster of Caro, age 57, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born February 14, 1962 in Caro, the son of the late Richard Lee Jaster and MaryLou (LaPratt) Morrison, and was a Caro High School graduate, class of 1980. He was united in marriage with the former April Hanes on September 11, 1982 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. He was self-employed as Tim Jaster Builder and had a love for building and woodworking for many years. He also worked at Caro Community Hospital and in 1985, he was lead custodian before becoming the facility manager, until he retired in 2010 due to health issues. Tim also loved snow plowing, hunting, fishing, camping, and bowling. He was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge, Caro Knights of Columbus, and Ducks Unlimited. He was actively involved with his family and daughters. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-seven years, April Jaster of Caro; two daughters, Jessica Stahl and her husband, Jeremy, and Jennifer Myers and her fianc, Joe Urchick; all of Caro; two nephews that he loved as sons and their spouses, Jeffrey & Tiffany Stephens, Kevin & Colleen Stephens; eight grandchildren, Lauren, Brooklyn, Emma, Aubrey, Austin, Westeley, Aaron and Eliza; father-in-law, Roland Hanes and his wife, Mickey; two brothers-in-law, James Stephens, Mike & Robin Hanes; two sisters-in-law and spouses, Michelle & Carl Monson, Pam & Rodney Mills; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother and father, Timothy was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Stephens; mother-in-law, Nancy Hanes; and step-father, Lee Morrison. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Novesta Church of Christ in Cass City with Rev. Brad Speirs officiating. Burial will follow at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. Pallbearers for Timothy will be Roy and Don Jaster, Ron Houghteling, Jeff and Kevin Stephens and Carl Monson.
