Timothy Wayne Ladd

Timothy Wayne Ladd, of Mayville, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home. He was born on April 29, 1975 in Lapeer, and was lovingly adopted by his grandparents, Richard Thomas and Lois (Colling) Ladd. Tim was raised in Mayville and graduated from Mayville High School. A skilled mechanic, Tim had a natural talent for working with his hands and enjoyed tackling projects alongside his friends. In his younger years, he had a passion for riding motorcycles, quads, and dirt bikes, as well as playing video games. Outgoing and full of energy, he loved striking up conversations and connecting with people. Above all, Tim cherished time spent with his family and friends. His daughter was the light of his life, and his beloved chihuahuas, Cookie and Harley, were always by his side.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Katelynn Ladd; girlfriend, Jamie Summerfield; Katelynn’s mother, Samantha Ladd; friend, Don Burgess; and neighbor, Brent.

In keeping with Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
