Timothy Joseph Murphy

Timothy Joseph Murphy, 49, of Davison, died Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Hurley Hospital in Flint.

Timothy was born July 18, 1961 in Highland Park to Rita (Stephanic) and the late John M. Murphy. His family doted on their special son as he grew up and lived with Down’s Syndrome and did their best to keep him safe and happy. He enjoyed visits from his family, listening to music, and attending Wolcott Cornerstone.

He is survived by his mother Rita of Port Austin; sister Mary Ann Murphy and her husband Walter Miller of British Columbia; nephew Devin and niece Bridget.

He was preceded in death by his father John M. Murphy.

A funeral mass will be at 12:00 Noon Friday, March 25th at St. Michael Catholic Church, Port Austin, with Rev. Andy Booms presiding. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 pm Thursday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. He will lie in-state one hour prior to the mass on Friday at church.
