Timothy Ashley Simecki

Timothy Ashley Simecki, 36, of Caseville, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019.

Tim was born July 5, 1982 in Tacoma, Washington to Bryan and Margaret (Seman) Simecki. He graduated from Caseville High School in 2000. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard, including a tour of duty in Iraq in 2005 attached to the Army Corps of Engineers. Tim was attending Delta College working toward finishing his degree in welding. He was a member of the VFW Post #116 in Bad Axe. He enjoyed fishing from his canal and bon fires late into the night.

He is survived by his parents Bryan and Margaret Simecki of Sand Point; grandfather Peter and grandmother Linda Simecki of Chapin; a large extended family and many very dear friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents William and Mary Ruth Seman; paternal grandmother Mary Livingston; uncle David Seman; and his dear cousin Jennifer Burback.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.

Memorials in his memory may be made to the Bad Axe Post 116 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
