Timothy Paul Weihl

Timothy Paul Weihl of Caro, age 64, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Cartwright Hospice Residence in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. Tim was born February 27, 1952 in Cass City, the son of the late Homer and Sylvia (Ross) Weihl. He was a graduate of Caro High School, and on April 1, 1972, he was united in marriage with the former Susan Ann Bennett. After forty-four years of marriage, Sue preceded him in death on April 9th of this year. Tim was employed as a welder at Tower Automotive in Elkton until his retirement. He loved cars and riding his Harley throughout the state. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group of Lapeer (H.O.G.). Tim is survived by two sons, Benjamin Weihl and his wife, Christina, of Midland, Michael Weihl of Caro; two grandchildren, Brendan and Makenna Weihl of Midland; his siblings, Jack & Virginia Weihl of Reese, Noel & Mary Ann Weihl of Reese, Phyllis & Emerson Davis of Harrison, Marge Kosal of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Tim was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Weihl; and one sister, Beverly Schlattmann. In keeping with Tim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating.
